03 May Spring Time at The Cheesiry!
It ‘s been a chilly, windy start to spring here on the farm. Flowers have been seeded for the upcoming flower season and the lambing is almost complete. It has been a bountiful lamb year! All of the births so far have been triplets and even a set of quadruplets. I’m thinking the last ewe just might have quads as well.
That being said, we should have cheese ready for the end of may or early June in the honour system fridge. I’m so looking forward to eating that cheese again! Along with our cheese, we are planning to have other local products int he fridge as well. Remember the honour fridge is a cash or e-transfer system only.
For the flower season we have a lot of events planned for the summer. Our 5 week flower subscription sold out and now have only a few 3 week ones left. We are again offering our u-pick 3 times per week from the end of July till frost. Dates for these will be released closer to the actual u-pick days. We’re excited to be offering unique u-pick nights in collaboration with other local businesses! Some of which include pick you own flowers and: arrange them in a one of a kind pottery vase, paint your own sunflower picture, beer tasting, coffee pouring and crystals to name a few. Get your tix quickly as spots are limited.
